Ulta Haul Y’All

RHYMING 🙂

My one (and only) New Year’s Resolution was to start caring for my skin. Once a 16-year old with a yearly tanning membership – I have traded in my goggles and Australian Gold for Mystic Tans and SPF 70. But that’s where it has stopped.

To me, turning 30 hasn’t meant many changes. Case in point: I still listen to hits from High School Musical. OMG Sharpay yes. But it’s time to start smearing on the ol’ war paint so to speak. A war against wrinkles, crows feet and laugh lines.

So with no further adieu, I give you my newly acquired army hailing from Ulta.

You’re welcome for the awesome pics I took on the carpet.

1. Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Moisturizer $21.99

photo (16)

After doing a small amount of research, I discovered this product by Neutrogena. Earning high marks for it’s wrinkle-smoothing effects and a high SPF – I decided I would give it a try. Since it contains retinol, I wasn’t sure how it would react with my dryish skin. Jury’s still out, I’ll keep you informed.

2. Boots No. 7 Lift & Luminate Night Creme $17.44 (on sale)

photo (14) - Copy

This I bought based on an article I read on Oprah.com because, really, it’s Oprah. I chose this because it does not have retinol (don’t want to go overboard) and so far, I have been loving it’s ULTRA thick consistency and the great smell.

3. Tarte Maracuja C-Brighter Eye Treatment – Collector’s Edition $38.00

photo (15)

This I bought after Rebecca, from the Issaquah Ulta recommended it. I luuurve me some maracuja and anything that is going to brighten up my dark circles. Plus, the packaging is adorbs.

4. Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater $7.00

photo (13)

I got this based on a recommendation from YouTuber Jaclyn Hill. Plus, anything that is rose-scented wins my heart.

5. Zoya Pixie Dust Nail Polish in Godiva (on sale for $4.99 in case the sticker isn’t orange enough)

photo (8) - Copy photo (7) - Copy

I got this because I saw another YouTube (I’m obsessed, clearly) Kristin Gehm. The pic doesn’t do this justice, it is SO pretty with subtle, itsy-bitsy sparkles and a great nude undertone.

Here it is on my nails, in really orange light:

6. OPI Mariah Carey 2013 Holiday Nail Polish in My Favorite Ornament $4.95 (Also on sale)

photo (10) - Copy photo (9) - Copy

Rebecca, from Ulta was wearing this as an accent color on her ring finger and as we were talking, I totally interrupted her and was like “WAIT STOP WHAT IS THAT COLOR?” It is seriously the most beautiful glitter of all time. Ever. Amen.

7. Hoola Bronzer by Benefit $28.00

photo (17)

I needed a new bronzer and they were sold out of the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soliel, so yeah. I have heard wondrous things about this bronzer and so far…I FREAKING LOVE IT.

8. Samples: Perricone Nutritive Cleanser, Juice Beauty Trio, DDF Wrinkle Resist Plus Pore Minimizer (Moisturizing Serum)

photo (11)photo (12) - Copy

I am VERY excited to try the DDF serum, as I have heard great things about this line. I’ll be sure to share, don’t fret :).

And last, but not least check out my Seahawks eye look:

Thank God I saved that glitter from 7th grade volleyabll games

Get to Know Me Tag

Oh, hello.

DSCN4709
Omg I am soooo classy.

I was tagged by the beautiful and talented, Debe to do the “Get to Know Me” tag. So automatically, I start humming “Getting to Know You” from The Kind and I. Here goes…

1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?

BOARD straight. I’d like to think it has a bit of natural beach-wave to it. But let’s call a spade a spade. It’s straight and kinda homeless looking.

2. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?

Salon, all the way. I have pulled it through a cap FAR too many times in the past and was left with cow spot highlights and a very sore scalp. Currently, I go to C.Joy Salon and I love it!

photo

You can tell how much I love my grow-out

3. Do you wear the same style everyday, or do you change it?

I assume we’re still talkin’ hurr. It changes constanly. If it’s freshly washed, I like to do loose curls or straighten it a little. The next day they will be a bit messier but better. The next day it may be pinned back! I am CRAZY! I may throw in a sock bun (kinda done with those, though) or a messy pony for S’s and G’s.

4. Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to a salon?

DIY girl! Getting my nails done is a treat and not one that I could afford based on how often I change up my nail color. With great products like Out the Door Topcoat and Seche Vite – it’s pretty much fool-proof. Pedis are nice but I always feel horrible for the women who have to deal with my hobbit feet after sandal season.

5. How often do you change your nail polish?

I would say I change it about 4 times per month. I usually have nail polish on my nails unless I am being lazy or hate all the ones I have.

picstitch

6. Do you polish your toes in the winter or just the summer?

Err…all year round! Because I am a perfectly-kept woman. JOKES. Unless my toes will be seen (i.e New Years party and I’m wearing a peep-toe) they are stored safely in fuzzy socks or boots and are likely bare with Saruman toenails…

LordOTRingsFellowship_097Pyxurz

7. How long does it take for you to put on makeup?

Monday through Friday for work, it takes me about 10 minutes. Weekends I can take up to an hour if you let me!

8. What do you do first? Face or eyes?

Face. Unless I am doing a really dark, smoky eye which will inevitably end up all over my entire face.

9. Do you collect makeup or just buy what you need when you need it?

I think I fall somewhere in the middle. I don’t have a bajillion mascaras but -Bryan – EARMUFFS! I do have an abundance of blushes, eyeshadows and lipsticks.

10. How often do you wear false eyelashes?

Special occasions only. I want to order a pair of mink lashes for my wedding! I am thinking these:

velour-lashes-strike-a-pose

11. Do you do a full face of makeup everyday?

Oh heeeyll nah. I ALWAYS wear the following: under eye concealer, mascara, blush and lip color. Everything else comes and goes.

12. Do you wear makeup when you’re home alone or with family?

Usually I do. You never know when a good photo-bomb opportunity will present itself.

13. Will you leave the house without makeup?

I will. It is a rare occasion when I am 100% naked-faced (usually I will at least throw on concealer and mascara) but I definitely have and will.

14. How many high-end products do you have?

I would say I definitely have more drugstore than high-end. If something works, I am likely going to get it, no matter the price. The exception to this rule is (as an example) the Clé de Peau concealer because it costs $70 that sh*t is just cray.

15. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you’re getting dressed?

I maybe did this the day before 8th grade…and that was the last time.

YOU KNOW this tasty outfit was planned in 2005

16. How often do you change your handbag?

I would say 2-3 times per season. Right now, I rotate between my Rebecca Minkhoff Mac bag and a gray Longchamp.

17. What time do you wake up and go to sleep?

Up and at ’em at 6:30 am. In bed usually by 9 and asleep by 9:30. I. Am. OLD.

18. How often or when do you workout?

This fluctuates ALOT. Since we joined a gym, Bry and I usually go together after work (around 6 pm) for 40 minutes or so. I try to go about 4 times a week.

19. Left handed or right handed?

Right handed.

20. How tall are you?

5’11”. I used to be 5’11”1/2 (or six-foot denial) but I am shrinking I think.

21. Do you speak any foreign languages?

I am pretty well versed in baby talk and pig latin. I can also ask for wine, vodka and candy in French.

DSCN0621

22. How many pets do you have?

ZERO. DON’T ASK.

23. How do you blog?

Ummm. I login to WordPress and start typing.

24. Do you read comments posted on blogs?

Yes, I often times do. Sometimes people say really funny things in the comments or ask a useful question. Obviously if there is like 10,000 comments I don’t.

25. Do you keep a list of products to try as you see other posts?

I need to be better about this. Although, I usually only purchase things that lots of people are deeming Holy Grails. Then it is easy to remember.

26. How did you come up with your blog name?

It has changed over the years. It was Bry and Nat Cook, Adventures in Jackson and now The Natalie Diaries. It has morphed and changed along with what’s going on in my life.

27. What kind of camera do you use for your photographs?

My iPhone 🙂

28. How often do you clean your house?

We just moved in so I haven’t cleaned it top to bottom yet. Certain things need to be cleaned more often than others, obviously. So it will likely vary.

29. What’s your favorite color?

Do you really need to ask? PINK.

30. Do you swear?

Not often. Call me old-fashioned, but I don’t think it’s lady-like and I think it can make people sound just plain dumb. When used strategically, a well-timed cuss word can definitely enhance a story or joke. You just gotta be careful.

31. What are you doing with the rest of your day?

Since I’ve not been to the gym for a few days, I am going to spend a little time on the stair stepper and roll around on the mats, pretending to do sit ups. Then Bry and I are having pasta, wine and watching something from Redbox. Maybe a froyo run, I don’t know. We are so unpredictable and spontaneous!

I would love to hear from anyone who wants to participate in this tag! Now that you know me, I feel like I should know you…or else it will get awkward.

My Grown Up Christmas List

Do you remember me? I sat upon your knee.

Unfortunately this post is anything but  a “grown up” Christmas list. Although I would love for no more lives to be torn apart…it is definitely not my lifelong wish. Well, it is and it isn’t. Can’t everyone have a friend AND I get the new Jo Malone perfume?

ANYWAYS. For those of you don’t know – my birthday just happens to fall on Christmas Eve. And save your questions. YES, it is the worst day (besides Christmas day, maybe) to have your birthday  on. I’ve seen it all:

The 2-fer-1’s….”Here Natalie! I got you this ONE gift for your birthday AND Christmas.”

The people who wrap my birthday presents in Christmas paper.

Going to CHURCH every single year on my birthday. Including my 21 run. How sad is it that communal wine was my first legal drink?

Although my sisters and I are well into adulthood, looking forward to years of turtlenecks, holiday bathroom towels and giftcards to Coldwater Creek, as of now – we are still hanging on for dear life to our youthful years. As a result, we still do the all-out Christmas gift exchange. Complete with a “Santa” present from Nan and Gare, exchanged gifts for one another and stockings brimming with those delicious Butterfinger bells (you know the ones).

We have grown a little since the good ol’ days. Where I had heart palpitations over anything from Zumiez and Meg and I would get in blow-out fights if her Lisa Frank pencil pouch totaled $1 more than mine. We were those girls and although it pains me to admit it, we kinda still are. Though are tastes have matured from Zumiez to say, Nordstrom, we still strive for equality and try to ensure everyone has their most coveted items on Christmas morn.

So, in light of my hearty Amurican materialism (#honesty), here is a fun Christmas list collage I put together for the year 2013.

Picture2

1.) 3 Olive Cake Vodka 2.) Urban Decay Naked 3 3.) Bobbi Brown Eye Creme 4.)Turkish Delight from Lush
5.)Pottery Barn Cozy Throw 6.) The Hobbit Phone Case 7.) Pitch Perfect on DVD 8.) Philosophy’s Time in a Bottle
9.) Regal Necklace from Forever 21 10.) Laura Mercier Pistachio Body Souffle  11.) FRYE Melissa Boot 12.) Gap Fair Isle Cardigan

Just some general guidelines, you know.

HOWEVER, in case anyone out there is feeling very generous, I guess I would consider accepting this vanity from Pier 1.

The Sunshine Award!

11-cosmos-under-blue-sky-cosmos-flower-under-sunshine_1440x900_69080

It’s a sunshine day!

A big bear hug to Debbie for nominating me for this award. Please go over and check out her blog for amazing reviews on beauty and makeup products…not to mention two ADORABLE chihuahuas who I want to kindnap…(jk kindof).

Behold! The 11 questions I was asked to answer:

1. What inspired you to start your blog?

I wanted to learn WordPress to help broaden my “professional” skill set, but honestly my love for writing is what has kept this humble little blog chuggin along. I always have felt that there are too many blogs out there, be it beauty, lifestyle, fashion, healthy living, etc. where everything is moon-pies and rainbows. I happen to favor (both in life and on the internet) those folks who aren’t afraid to keep things real. And that, my friends is what I have aimed to do on my blog.

2. What’s the best beauty advice you ever got?

When in doubt, add more blush.

3. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

West Richland, Washington! JOKES. I would (and will) go to New Zealand…and  walk the path to Mordor.  Wearing a cape. And I’ll do my hair like this:

legolas1

4. What one beauty product can’t you live without?

I look like a mutant alien when I am bare-faced so this one is a toughie. I would have to say mascara, just because it transforms me back into a human. A close runner up would be deo. For the B.O.

5. Do you have any pets?

GAH! Don’t ask. The short answer is no. The long answer is that unfortunately my fiance and I both work full-time and therefore, cannot devote (what I feel to be) the appropriate time to a dog (the only pet I would consider having). One day, I will rescue a chihuahua (or 7 of them) and I will name her/him Mordecai after Richie’s pet hawk in The Royal Tenenbaums.

Margot-Gwyneth-Paltrow-talks-with-her-brother-Richie-Luke-Wilson-and-his-falcon-Mordecai-in-Touchstones-The-Royal-Tenenbaums-2001-5

6. Do you prefer going out or spending a low-key night at home?

Toss up. I luurrve going out, but a night at home is oftentimes just what the doctor ordered. If I am going out, I tend to favor shopping at Lush, eating crab cakes, drinking gimlets or seeing Disney on ice. A great night at home would include a $7 frozen yogurt with absolutely no fruit toppings, Pretty Little Liars or anything on ABC Family, You Tube, the fireplace, candy crush, candy and one of Bryan’s enormous hooded sweatshirts from college which I will inevitably spill froyo on.

7. What’s the best meal you ever had?

Another toughie. I would have to say our meal at Merriman’s in Kapalua while we were in Maui was top notch. It was comprised of scrumptious bread for the table, warm crusted goat cheese and charred ahi.

DSCN4619DSCN4618DSCN4624

Either that or the time I ate 3 beef supreme chalupas at 2 am on New Year’s Eve in college.

8. What is your favorite skincare product?

Confession: I am dangerously close to the big 3-0 and I really don’t have a skincare routine. GASP. I need help and WOULD LOVE any recommendations down below. My skin type is dry to normal and my skin concern would be preventative wrinkle care so I don’t have to get 390,23423 rounds of Botox. GO!

9. Who’s your favorite YouTube Beauty Guru?

I would have to say Louise, from Sprinkle of Glitter takes the top spot. I also love her bestie, Zoella.

6802033583_ceff9184bb_b

I watch these two relentlessly and not necessarily for their beauty know-how, but just because they are hilarious and awesome. For straight up makeup application, hauls and what-not I LOVE Jaclyn Hill. Her winged eyeliner vid is seriously life-changing.

10. What’s your favorite makeup look?

Bold, winged liner with a subtle shimmery (think Stila kitten or MAC vanilla pigment) shadow and a bright pink lip. Also plenty of Soft and Gentle highlight.

11. In the last week, name one thing that made you smile?

My fiance dancing in the kitchen. Watching the YouTube video of that girl falling on the ice (below). Getting my November Ipsy! Talking to my mom about what kind of vanity I want for Christmas. Texting with my 3rd sister, Rachel about Thanksgiving!

Travel Beauty Bag: Maui Edition

Greetings Lovelies!

Today I thought I would share the contents of my makeup and toiletries bag whilst in Maui. After a million and one trips of bringing a thousand mascaras and 763 eyeshadow palettes, I have learned m’lesson. Like Mowgli, I only need the bare necessities.

So here. They. Are.

Makeup

  3. Anastasia Eye Brow Pencil in Ash Blonde – Really want to upgrade to the Brow Wiz, but not until I use up this pup.
  4. Coola Tinted Sunscreen in SPF 20 – I really liked this organic sunscreen. In fact, this is the kind of sunblock they offered at the Spa.
  5. Covergirl Ink It Eyeliner in Black – Love this eyeliner. Stays put and is VERY black.
  6. Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agenda Concealer Palette in Light – One of my all-time favorite concealers. I love the setting powder and the multitude of shades was nice to have.

  8. MAC Mineralized Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle – Holy grail highlight.

Beauty Products

  1. Biotin – Gotta take my pretty pills.
  2. Kenra Volume Hairspray – Such a nostalgic smell for me. Reminds me of getting ready for homecoming in high school. And the formula is nice.
  3. Pacifica Coconut Crushed Pearl Bronzing Body Lotion – SUCH a beautiful and delicious smelling lotion. Absolutely obsessed.
  4. Moroccon Oil – Holy grail hair oil. Nothing else will do.
  5. Pssssst! Dry Shampoo – This is just meh. Not as good as Batiste.
  6. Dove Deo – Smells great, but not as good as this one.
  7. Hawaiian Tropic Shimmer Effect Sunblock in SPF 20 – Obsessed with the smell. The shimmer is pretty but I wouldn’t re-purchase this formulation.
  8. Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray – Have YET to find a beach spray I’m in love with. This one is ok and added a little oomph to my already salty locks.
  9. Q-Tips – Duh.
  10. Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion – No crazy smells and does the job.
  11. L’Oreal Sublime Bronze Self Tanning Lotion in Deep/Dark – My favorite drugstore self-tanner BY FAR. Just wish it didn’t have the sparkle because it is INTENSE.

Mkay that is all. What do you bring on vacation?

Aww YEEAH.

Y’all ready for this?!

Makeup

Whilst in Maui, I picked up two items that I have been on an ongoing search for. We wandered into Longs Drugs and of course I couldn’t resist a trip down the makeup aisle. Here’s what I found:

0005005159757_500X500This Bonne Bell Lip Lites color is hugely popular with beauty gurus and 10 year old girls all over the world. The color looks real nice over the top of MAC Creme Cup and yeah, it smells delicious.

450I have been wanting to try the Jordana eyeliners given the line’s great reputation but alas, the brand is only sold at Walgreens and it’s mostly all nail polish. In Maui, they had the ENTIRE line of Jordana so I happily snagged this eyeliner. It reminds me alot of the Revlon Colorstay Liquid Eye Pen but it is way more pigmented.

s1343961-main-heroThis I brought with me from home and was a sample I received from Ulta. I only wore makeup out to dinner in Hawaii, since during the day we were either swimming in the ocean or in a pool. I don’t fuss with the waterproof mascaras because it’s too hard to get off. I surrender to the fact that I look like one of those hairless cats and just move on with my life. This stuff came in handy when we were dashing out the door to grab coffee and I wanted to look not so much like a corpse. I just brushed a few strokes on my cheeks and lightly tapped it in to my skin. It also works great on the lips with a coat of chapstick with SPF.

hello_flawless_Another free sample from Ulta! I got two of the lightest shades and was able to start with the lighter and transition into the darker as my face got more color. I really enjoyed this foundation while in Hawaii: it has SPF 25, no oil and it is brightening (I have dry skin). It performed beautifully, especially on the nights where went out for drinks at sunset. I have yet to give it a try since we have been back since I remain true to my MUFE HD Foundation, but it was definitely a hit in the tropics!

Other Stuff

suave-anti-dandruff-shampoo-coconut-shea-butterConfession: I have a very itchy scalp. It makes no sense, really. I wash my hair a mere two times a week, so you’d assume my scalp would be oily, if anything.  However, after the 4th or so day of not washing my hair, my scalp becomes SUPER itchy. Like fire ants are on my head. Thus, I decided to pick up a shampoo to treat my condition. I remember using Neutrogena T-Gel as a kid and it smelled like DEATH. This shampoo smells like coconut and nourishes my scalp. And it’s like $4 so yeah. WINNING.

87E620F7-D715-4038-975B-389E3DA97A1AConfession 2: I enjoy men’s deodorant. Always have. Always will. I know the aluminum is killing me but I refuse to fall victim to B.O. In high school, I would wander into Abercrombie and spray myself with Fierce, just OBSESSING over how good it smelled. This deo I picked up in a pinch one afternoon at my local QFC in the travel section. I have now grown fond of the smell, very fond. It smells like men’s soap. Simple as that.

10154685I picked up this little set of teasing combs at Target and am glad I did. After a 3-day no-wash my hair starts lookin a little limp. I enjoy taking a section towards the middle-back of my head and teasing, with the help of my beloved Tres 2 hairspray. Then I just comb another small section of hair over that and pull it into a pony. Just gives it a little somethin.

554_PackShotLast, but certainly not least are these AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS Kashi bars. I was on the hunt for my favorite pumpkin pie ones, but they were sold out (tis the season). I could literally have an entire pack of these. It’s like a candy bar, only good for you. I should have handed these out for Halloween instead of Snickers! Or maybe not…

September Favorites + 1 Un-Favorite

Happy October Beautiful People!

Fall 09 140

I think I shall try to make this a monthly thing, n’est pas?

So, Bry and I are kindof making a large purchase in the near future… Hence, my pennies are presh. I don’t like to waste em on items like chalky eye shadow or lipstick which makes me look like an alien. I do m’research. I hunt for bargains and have googled “(insert makeup brand here) Coupon Code” more times than you can imagine. Here are the standouts from my September beauty regime and, life.

Makeup

Cailyn Tinted Lip Balm in Big Apple

500mi-hlgrgsr28px0gdd

I got this in my September Ipsy, which I am in love with. These little bags evoke squeals of joy when I spot that familiar pink metallic packaging peeking out from behind the wad of junk mail in our mailbox. But this past month, I got absolute poop. No other way to say it. POOP. The only saving grace was this tinted lip balk which I have found myself reaching for on more than one occasion. It’s moisturizing properties are questionable but the color is SO fetch.

The Rocket Volume Mascara.

14328368_121216070000

This mascara is just wonderful. Unlike most I’ve tried, it can stand on it’s own with 2-3 coats. Most of the time, I have to combine three mascaras to get the results that this alone can give me. The only drawback would be the struggle to get it off…see my thoughts at the end of this post on my failed attempt to do so.

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Iced Mocha

153

I really like this line of jumbo pencils from NYX and have a few different colors (Milk is another great one to have). I find that I use them most as shadow bases or smudged underneath my lower lash line and kinda smoked out. The colors are gorgeous and the shade range is unbeatable.

Wet’n’Wild Mega Last Lipstick in 24 Carrot Gold

300 (1)

Omg. I think I might be slightly obsessed with this color. I have never experimented with orange-toned lip colors and I must say, I am in love. It will look great in Hawaii when I’m not so ghastly white (we leave in about 2 weeks, yay!).

Beauty

BIOTIN.

biotin_1

Aw, girl! Seriously just start taking this. Today. It takes a while to start noticing the effects, but my hair has grown faster than ever before and my nails? WAY stronger and thicker. Plus, it comes with the added bonus of freaking out your fiance when he asks about them and you tell them they are prenatal vitamins (not a total lie since biotin is in prenatals). Muahahhhahaaaha.

Wet’n’Wild Fergie Nail Polish in Velvet Lounge.

300

For the WSU game, I decided to really get all Coug’ed out with some nail art. I got this color along with a gray and created some intense Fangirl nails. I really like this crimson because it’s not too deep and not too cherry.

Yes, it’s worth the hype and the $20 price tag. My above pictured new BB and I will have a long, faithful relationship. Free of latex and full of dewy-faced makeup days.

Hurr Curr

Tresemme Heat-Tamer Spray

450

As of late, I have actually been blow-drying AND straightening my hair. Gasp! I know this a major no-no when trying to grow Rapunzel-like locks but I am SO sick of looking like a ragamuffin. Since I only wash my hair 1-2 times a week, I think I’m still okay.

Bed Head After Party

140022

From this oddly-shaped bottle, comes one of my all-time favorite finishing products. I have used this stuff since high school and for darn good reason. One pump provides a perfectly “piecey” look, ala Jen Aniston. I run it from the middle to the bottom of my hair, focusing more of the product at the ends.

Fashions

My Michael Kors rose gold watch has been a regular guest on my wrist these days. Annnd now I want everything in rose-gold…

STRIPES. Just in general. Bry pointed out that almost everything I have bought lately has been stiped in some way, shape or form.

Randoms

Sourdough. Bread. With Chunky Skippy peanut butter, or this cheese or really, anything.

FranzSourdough-copy

My Scentsy. Not only do I love me some candles, but I also have a small obsession with my Scentsy. (Insert Cathy comic strip here) This is my favorite “brick” as of late:

UN-FAVORITE

SO. I ran out of my favorite makeup wipes about a month ago. Then, when I was perusing the aisles of Wal-Mart for a Milani blush I have YET to find, I noticed this:

0007278505864_500X500

Innocent enough. Looks like the Neutrogena version, right? I picked er up for a mere $3.50 and happily applied this to my eyes each night to remove my Rocket glue mascara. It worked great! So, I continued each consecutive evening. After a week or so, I noticed my eyes became super itchy every night around 5:30. Did I change anything? NO. I kept on using the stuff, since clearly, it was doing it’s job and just itched the bejesus outta my eyes. Then…EUREKA! I stopped using the remover and consequently – my eyes stopped itching! It was a Christmas miracle, or maybe it was me not being an idiot anymore. Not sure which. Anyways, this product did it’s job nicely, but obviously I had some kind of allergic reaction to it, thus making it a resounding FAIL.

What have you been loving, or un-loving this month?
